




Build Women in the Extractive
The Build Grant Goal
To build a strong and resilient organizations that will contribute to the elimination of all forms of gender-based violence in the extractive sector in Nigeria.


Project Approach The project is in 2 folds:
- INSTITUTIONAL STRENGTHENING INTERVENTIONS
- PROGRAMMATIC INTERVENTIONS
Project Outcomes
- Availability of quality data on the forms and prevalence of Gender-Based Violence in the extractive sector in Nigeria.
- Improved implementation of policies that prevent gender-based violence in the extractive sector.
- Improved response to issues that affect women and children in the extractive sector.
- Improved organizational capacity to program against inequality and Gender-based violence in the extractive sector.

Implementing Partner
The grant is being implemented by the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Centre LSD), a non-profit, non-governmental organization, established under the Nigerian laws, to build strategic leadership for sustainable development in Africa.
The Centre’s mission is to work with forces of positive change to transform society through transformative leadership, Strategy, and development approaches.
